In this class of 10 students or less, we will create a safe space to create, exercise our imagination and work together to solve artistic problems. We will create 2-D and 3-D artwork using classic art materials such as pastels, paints, clay, and papier mache. New or surprising materials such as wire, foam and wood are sometimes featured. (All materials included)

Intro to Drawing

Do they love art, but there is nowhere to take them? This class is a group lesson with individual attention as the students need. We will work on simple ideas and projects that 4 & 5 year olds can understand. Students will learn from basic values and form with projects like still life, landscape, and animal drawing. (All materials included)

Does your child like to draw?

This class will focus on basic drawing techniques in graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, pastel and more. We will also introduce color theory principles. The exercises we plan will develop an understanding for light, form, color, prospective, tonal shading and line techniques. (Sketching Pads not included)

We are an art school specializing in painting with oils. Our students are aged six through adult with varied skill levels from beginning to advanced. Our student teacher ratio is one to six allowing each student an abundance of help and instruction. (All materials included except canvases)

Watercolor Classes - ages 8 & older



This is a class that teaches basic drawing, color theory and watercolor techniques for beginners to intermediate level students. We will create projects from the traditional Asian style brush paintings to contemporary watercolor experiments to thematic development projects such as animals, birds, or landscapes. (All materials included)

Advanced Art/Portfolio Preparation

This is an ongoing structured class that will help prepare, plan, and guide the serious art student to enrich and or prepare a demanding art portfolio requirement for high school or beyond. Although structured, this class welcomes the needs of each student and their art concentrations. Students will express their skills and talents through varied mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpting. All projects are thematic and conceptually geared to be original and technical in composition. Portfolio, photography of artwork assistance, and all other materials provided. Although this class is portfolio based, it can be used for advanced art enrichment. Opportunities for art contests and shows offered! (Basic materials included)
