About Us We are an art school encouraging artistic expression in a nurturing environment. Young At Art is a year round art school with enrollments of over 400 students per month. We offer art classes for ages 4 years to adult specializing in oil painting, drawing, and exploration with mixed media. Week long day camps are offered June through August with ceramics, painting, sculpture and more fun-filled summer days. Our student teacher ratio is seven to one (oil painting) allowing each student an abundance of help. Every one of our Instructors is an accomplished artist and look forward to sharing their talents.

Monthly Payments:

Classes are billed monthly and in advance with payments due on the first class of the month.  If payment is not received by the 10th of the month, a 10% late fee will be added to your bill. NO EXCEPTIONS! You may expect to receive your statement via email no later than the 25th of the month prior.  Please note this statement is generated automatically and if you don’t receive it, it is your responsibility to let us know.  Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, paypal, Mastercard or Visa.

Missed Classes/Enrollment Cancellation:

Please make sure we know your schedule ahead of time.  If your child does not plan to attend a particular class or classes for whatever reason or if you wish to cancel your child’s enrollment, you must inform Young at Art (YAA) PRIOR to the beginning of the month.  Please note that if YAA is NOT notified prior to the beginning of the month, you WILL be charged for up to one month of missed classes.  Children missing a full month of classes without prior notice will automatically be dropped and must re-enroll. Please make sure you notify the office staff, not the teaching staff

Make-Up Classes:

There will be no refunds or credits for missed classes however; they may be made up by scheduling your child for a different class on a day other than their originally scheduled time.  All make-up classes must be completed within three months of the original missed class date.  For your convenience, a current schedule is available to view at www.yaainc.net. YAA will not allow a make-up class unless your child is currently enrolled in regular classes.

 Safety/Behavior:

YAA will not assume responsibility for your child(s) actions that are not related to teaching or learning art. If behavior is deemed inappropriate we will initiate contact with the parent(s)/guardian(s).  If the problem continues we may cancel your child’s enrollment from the art classes without refunds.  For their safety, we ask that all students remain indoors after classes to await pick-up.  We ask that all students be picked up promptly after class; if pick-up will be later than 15 minutes, please contact the YAA office.
